Maggi airport

If you travel by planes, you know that things at the airport are way overpriced. Even something as simple as samosa which doesn’t cost more than ₹15, costs around ₹150. Recently, a woman took to the internet and shared the exorbitant price that she had to pay at an airport for something as commonplace as Maggi. She took to Twitter and shared her bill of ₹193 for just one plate of Maggi.

Woman Buys Maggi Worth ₹193 From Airport

Maggi is something most of us have almost every other day. It is part of the Indian culture at this point. When something as commonplace as Maggi, a packet which costs no more than ₹15 or ₹20, is priced so high, it is surprising.

Sejal Sud, a self-proclaimed entrepreneur, recently posted on the micro-blogging website about the exorbitant price of Maggi that she had to pay recently at an airport. She paid a whopping ₹193 for something that wouldn’t cost more than ₹20.

She posted a picture of the bill and said that she didn’t know how to react and questioned why anyone would price Maggi so highly. While her sentiment was understood and completely valid, people on the Internet weren’t very sympathetic towards her.

Gets Roasted By The Internet

One might think that people would relate to her post about expensive Maggi but not many people were sympathetic. Since she questioned the high price of Maggi, other people pointed out that despite the high price, she did, in fact, end up buying.

Some even said that she just posted the bill for content on the Internet. When questioned about why she bought the expensive Maggi, the self-proclaimed ‘investor’ said that she had been hungry for almost two hours.

Some even said that it wasn’t the price of the Maggi itself, but the price of the location. Some hilariously said that it seems that the Maggi might have been made with Aviation fuel, given the high price.
