Woman Claims Gurgaon Roads Will Remind Bengalureans Of Dubai; Netizens Share Mixed Responses

Bengaluru roads

Bengaluru’s traffic woes have often been the topic of discussion on X (formerly Twitter), with Netizens turning into agony aunts for each other. This time, the city’s road condition has grabbed eyeballs on social media after a woman claimed that roads in Gurgaon were miles ahead. While some agreed with her, many others disagreed, and the comments section turned into a debate platform.

X User Compares Bengaluru Roads To Gurgaon; Claims Latter To Be Better

Anisha took to her X handle (@sushi33trash) to write a sentence that in no time assembled Bengalureans, folks from Gurgaon and other Netizens from India. She claimed that if folks from Bengaluru witnessed the lanes in Gurgaon, they’d assume it was Dubai. Now, that’s a tall claim to make. Are the roads and lanes in Gurgaon close to Dubai standards? The city-versus-city debate ushered in an avalanche of responses. While some were playful, others poked fun, while a few more veered in a debate between Gurgaon’s main roads and inner lanes.

A Netizen instantly turned down her claims, and another commenter asked if she was new to the city. @nishantsupakar claimed he stayed in both Gurgaon and Bengaluru, and he finds the former to be “overhyped”. While he admits the main roads are “decent”, the sub lane and community roads and worse than Bengaluru.

Netizens Share Mixed Responses

With a view similar to Nishant, another commenter called Gurgaon, the worst city he has been to. The X user called Cyber City cool, but the other sectors lacked proper roads and cleanliness. On the other hand, a Bengalurean agreed with her, and a few others did too. “Someone had to say this,” claimed a Netizen. A person even joked that in Gurgaon, every lane is a plot twist.

Witnessing the host of comments flooding her feed, Anisha posted that she’d probably turn off her phone. Later, she even gave a glimpse of the overwhelming traffic situation in Bengaluru on a Friday night. In the caption, she stated that Friday evening is the worst time to travel anywhere in Bengaluru.
