Mumbai is known as the city of dreams. People from across the country come here to try their luck and make their dreams come true. But many times, while talking about this city, people talk about the crime rate, inflation, and more. Amidst all these, we come across instances that restore our faith in humanity, like this woman who shared a Twitter thread. The Twitter thread was about how strangers in Mumbai helped her get her lost iPhone.
Woman Loses iPhone And Strangers Help Her Find It
Thread.
I lost my phone this morning.
iPhone 12 mini, which I’ve had for about 2 years.I was going up the escalator at the Versova Metro station, when I reached into my bag and had my ‘waitaminute where the fuck is my phone???!’ moment.

A Twitter user named @historywali tweeted a long thread where she spoke about how some Mumbaikars went out of their way to help her find her lost iPhone. She got her mobile back after she lost it near Versova station on Sunday morning.
The long thread mentioned every single detail of how some rickshaw drivers and a Swiggy delivery agent helped her. She surely had lost all hopes of finding her lost iPhone, but these people were like angels to her.
Concluding her long but simply heartwarming thread, she said that this is why the people in Mumbai love this city so much! She expressed her gratitude towards the people here and the city!
A few days ago, someone who has recently moved to the city had tweeted here asking why we love Bombay despite the shit infra, high rents, all of it.
This is why.
I am tweeting this thread from my phone which I lost this morning, to find again, thanks to Mumbai & her people.

You painted quiet a picture. It was a roller coaster ride of emotions for us readers too.
This is exactly the reason why we love this city. A city is made up of its people & that’s what matters the most. Bombay is what it is because of them ❤️
We will catch up on infra soon..— Yash Choudhary (@Yash_ch14) July 3, 2023

Similar thing happened to me at Azad Nagar Metro station. Phone slipped out of my pocket in the rickshaw I was in.I realised when the driver had already left.I waited 5-10 mins panicking and wondering what to do next. And he returned just to give my phone back. The good samaritan
