A horrific incident took place on an IndiGo flight from Mumbai to Guwahati where a woman passenger was molested. According to the reports, a co-flyer sitting right next to her tried groping her on the late-night flight. Here are the details of the incident that took place on the Mumbai-Guwahati IndiGo flight.
Woman Molested On Mumbai-Guwahati IndiGo Flight!
On Saturday, a female passenger was groped by another passenger on the flight. The offender was turned over to the Guwahati police after a FIR was filed, according to the airline. The incident happened on board flight 6E-5319, which departed Mumbai at 9 pm. According to a Times Of India report, at least four instances of sexual harassment involving Indian passengers have been reported on aeroplanes during the last two months.
The Guwahati police received a report of alleged sexual harassment from another passenger. And then the accused was handed over to the Guwahati police upon landing, according to a statement from the airline. The airline further stated that the complainant filed an FIR with the local police, and they will support their investigation as necessary.

Details Of The Incident
The woman had recently left the hospital and was getting better. She was sleeping after the cabin lights were dimmed, had an aisle seat, and had lowered the armrests. According to the TOI report, the woman woke up to discover the armrest raised and the male passenger leaning against her. She thought it was strange because she clearly remembered putting the hand down. She further stated that she was just half asleep and didn’t give it much thought before putting the armrest back down and continuing to sleep.
After a few minutes, the fellow passenger began grabbing and groping her improperly. She claimed that she wanted to scream but was unable to do so because she “froze.” She claimed that she yanked the man’s hand away and yelled when he attempted to grope her once again. She then flipped on the seat lights and made a cabin crew call.

He began to apologise for what he did as she was screaming, sobbing, and recounting the situation, the woman continued.
