When you visit any south Indian state or city, you expect your food to be served on a banana leaf, don’t you? I mean, that’s the beauty of the South. Eating the special South Indian delicacies on a banana leaf has its own charm. But how about a North Indian delicacy being served on a banana leaf? Well, some might look at it with normalcy, but not everyone. A woman posted a picture of Chole Bhature served on a banana leaf in Bengaluru.

A woman visited a restaurant in Bengaluru and ordered Chole Bhature. To her surprise, she saw that the restaurant had served her the famous North Indian delicacy on a banana leaf. 

She could not understand the reason behind the bhaturas being placed on the leaf. She quickly clicked a picture and posted it on Twitter (@agrimaDw). She captioned the picture as “I like bangalore a lot but why you gotta serve chhole bhature on a banana leaf dude ;-;”.

Banana Leaf Is Biodegradable

The post shared by @AgrimaDw has by far received 168.8K views on Twitter. It has also received over 1,800 likes.

Many netizens reacted to the woman’s caption with the picture of Chole Bhature. The reactions to this post were divided, as some people looked at it with pure normalcy while others did not understand the reason, just like the woman who tweeted.

Most of the users said that this is the vibe in Bengaluru and that it is very common to see food served on a banana leaf here. 

Some users actually tried to explain the woman, the real reason behind it. One user told her how using a banana leaf on the plate makes it less greasy. She further elaborated on that, saying it helps in using less soap and water and mentioning how the leaf is biodegradable.

In the comments, you can see many users asking her to eat it without questioning anything and everything.
