In a viral video on the internet, a woman clad in a white saree can be seen showering Kedarnath’s shivling with currency notes. The incident took place inside the sanctum sanctorum (Garba Griha) of Uttarakhand’s Kedarnath temple.
The video has received a lot of displeasure from the public. The temple authorities called this act disgraceful and demanded action against the woman.
The video comes from inside the temple’s main spot, where videography or photography is strictly prohibited. The woman can be seen behaving in a very weird manner while showering the currency notes on the main deity of Kedarnath temple.
People compared the woman’s behaviour with someone showering money in a bar and hence called it disgraceful.
