So, on this amazing day, Doha Metro & Lusail Tram has announced that it will be offering free day passes to visitors who will be arriving through the airport till September 28. Making travelling easier for tourists arriving in the country, the Doha Metro & Lusail Tram has partnered with Visit Qatar and HIA Qatar. Yes, they have declared that they will be issuing complimentary Day Passes to visitors who arrive through the airport till September 28. The passes are being given as a part of the World Tourism Day initiative, which aims to encourage travellers to explore tourist destinations with ease. So, this means that they will get to explore all the amazing sites in and around Doha using the metro and tram for convenient movement in the public.

More About Doha Metro Route

Metro is the state-of-the-art public transport system that has been operating since 2019. Taking public transportation in Qatar up a notch, it serves millions of passengers and reliable mode of transport. The current route is split into three lines of red, green, and gold. And a new blue line is currently under construction and is expected that the first phase will be finished by 2026. It should be noted that the Red Line runs from Al Wakra in the South to Lusail in the North. As a result, it covers the West Bay, Corniche, and Al Bidda. While the Green Line covers stations, like the White Palace and Al Riffa. In fact, the metro operates every day and the train arrives every six minutes with the journey between stations being three minutes on average.
