Would You Eat A Neha Thali? Content Creator’s Name-Themed Thalis Have Piqued The Interest Of Foodies

Name-Themed Thalis

There’s nothing quite as colourful, appetising and well-balanced as a thali. Rice or rotis for carbs, kachumber or raita for veggie content, pulses or paneer for protein and dahi for probiotics, your balanced diet is taken care of, all in one plate! While every cuisine has its own thali, have you heard of name-themed thalis? We hadn’t either until we came across a viral video.

Name-Themed Thalis Take Over The Internet

Instagram food page Rajshri Ki Rasoi has recently introduced its followers to unique name-themed thalis. The digital content creator started a trend demonstrating a beautiful thali arrangement. Rajshri Ki Rasoi’s asked their followers to give her ideas for name thalis. Imagine surprising your loved one with a thali that spells their name. Like a clip that features a plate taking the name of “Neha” or “Rani.

Similar videos have thalis spelling names like “Khushi”, “Rani'” and “Deeksha”. The names are written in Hindi or Devanagari script. First, cooked rice is served in a way to spell the name of the person. Later, a plethora of dishes like thali, salad, dry aloo sabzi, pickles and other dishes made without onion or garlic are served in the empty spaces of the steel plate. The name-themed thalis are quite the rage amongst Instagrammers. Many have taken back the idea to their homes. We’re sure children would be delighted to see this creative unfold on their dinner plates.

Content Creator Started Out With Alphabet Thalis

Her Neha-themed thali garnered a whopping 50 million views on Instagram. It even caught the attention of Swiggy Genie who asked the content creator to serve them a “Neha thali”. Many Netizens used the comments section to chart out their recommendations. From “Gagan” to “Jacqueline Fernandez”, Netizens even challenged her to write a name on the thali with food. Some even enquired if they should eat it or frame it as the thalis looked that appetising.
But we think Rajshri Ki Rasoi has been building up to these name-themed thalis, reel after reel. The content creator earlier had an English alphabet-thali series, which looked spellbinding. Now, these name-themed thalis have taken over.
