On the Dubai Creek lies Souk Al Marfa, a new waterfront wholesale market in Dubai. While ideally situated in the Deira Islands to the north of Dubai, it is also only a short distance from Sharjah and the Northern Emirates. A free shuttle bus service from Deira Wharfage to Souk Al Marfa has been introduced thanks to a partnership between the shopping destination and the Marine Agency for Wooden Dhows, a division of the Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation.

Reaching To Souk Al Marfa becomes Easier

Visitors may take the free shuttle bus service from Deira Wharfage to Souk Al Marfa every day at 12:30 p.m. Therefore, on Sunday through Thursday and at 2 p.m. on Friday. Every day at 6:30 p.m., you will use a shuttle to return passengers to Deira Wharfage. There is just a 12-minute journey between the two locations.

This shuttle service will begin today and is entirely free. However, helpful for individuals who wish to explore Souk Al Marfa. This is in keeping with current initiatives to improve access to the market, which have been made possible by opening the RTA bus service and the RTA Abra and Ferry station.

An Indoor Air Conditioned Shopping Destination

Four artificial islands make up the market, which is located along the Deira Islands’ shoreline for 1.9 kilometres. The completely air-conditioned indoor shopping centre has about 400 stores selling various goods. The market includes apparel, electronics, carpets, lighting, spices, and handicrafts.

There is also an actual Thai Market where customers can buy food on the street, clothing, and handicrafts. The shuttle service will provide dhow travellers—passengers, drivers, and traders to reach the market. However, those who come from nearby nations have up to five hours of free time to buy, eat, and tour the market.
