The Supersonic Jet Will Cruise At 2,099 Km/Hour
The Overture line of supersonic aircraft is inspired by the Concorde with pencil nose and delta wings. These jets can carry between 65-88 passengers in an all-business class configuration. They cruise at extremely fast speeds of 2,099 km/hour. With such high speed, a jet from Singapore can take you to Dubai in 4 hours, and you will reach Montreal from Paris in 3.45 hours instead of 7 hours. These jets can take you from Los Angeles to Sydney in 8 instead of 14 hours.

The Aircraft Will Fly On 100% Sustainable Aviation Fuel
The test flights are expected to start in 2022 and roll out in 2025. United Airlines will look at the major parameters such as safety, operations, and sustainability requirements. The airline is hoping to start operations in 2029 but here’s is an interesting fact. The aircraft will fly on 100% sustainable aviation fuel with zero carbon emission. The aircraft will operate on 100% sustainable aviation fuel made from sources such as vegetable stock, paper scrap, and animal waste.
