Muslims across the world visit Al-Rawdah Al-Sharif at the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah for a peaceful experience. A secret place for worshippers, people throng the site in large numbers. However, according to the new instructions and guidelines issued by the General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, you will now be allowed to spend only 10 minutes inside. Here’s all about the newly issued guidelines.

According to the guidelines issued by the General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque at the Prophet’s Mosque, permit holders will not be able to take advantage of the permit for the visit to Al-Rawdah Sharif. Yes, they must cancel their permit well in advance, in order to give others a chance. And if they fail to do so, they will be granted another appointment only after a full year collapses. According to a report by the Saudi Gazette, it was revealed that worshippers will be allowed to spend only 10 minutes inside Al-Rawdah Sharif. Moreover, the permit to visit the same will be issued only once a year.

The Worship Time Is Just 10 Minutes

It’s worth mentioning that authorities have also stressed the fact that it is required for the worshippers to agree with the instructions in order to get entry to pray inside. While the prayer time inside is only 10 minutes, this has been done to allow others an equal opportunity to offer their prayers inside. So, it is necessary to confirm the appointment time when booking the permit. Not to mention, one must come 15 minutes prior to the allotted time for a seamless worshipping experience. Additionally, permit holders must also confirm their presence within the premises half an hour before the time of the appointment.
