Lights have finally guided Coldplay to India! Ahead of their much anticipated India tour, the British band arrived in Mumbai. They were welcomed by a sea of paparazzi and Chris Martin was seen greeting them with a namaste and waves. Coldplay Arrives In Mumbai Ahead Of India Tour
Coldplay fans, rejoice! Chris Martin and his band have finally arrived in India, after a very successful concert in Abu Dhabi. Coldplay will kickstart the India leg of their ‘Music of the Spheres World Tour’ at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai on January 18. After this, they have two more concerts at the same venue on January 19 and 21. The band will then head to Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium for concerts on January 25 and 26.
Chris Martin and his fiance Dakota Johnson arrived at the Mumbai Airport late on January 16 and greeted the paparazzi waiting for them. They also did the most touristy thing when they arrived in the city–visiting Marine Drive! Coldplay’s official Instagram account posted a picture of Chris posing at Marine Drive with the caption, “We are so happy and grateful to be here in India 🩷🩷”
Limited Tickets Added For Fans & Livestream
Seeing how many Coldplay fans couldn’t get tickets to see their favourite band perform live, on January 16, BookMyShow added limited tickets for the Ahmedabad concerts. Many disheartened fans were glad to have another opportunity to watch the concert live and snagged it immediately!

If you, however, weren’t so lucky, then fret not! Coldplay’s January 26 concert will stream live from Ahmedabad across India on Disney+ Hotstar. The band members took to social media to make this announcement. In the video, they said, “We’re so happy to tell you that on January 26, our show from Ahmedabad is streaming live on Disney+Hotstar. And you can watch it from wherever you are in India. We hope you can join us. We’re so excited to come to your beautiful country and we hope you’re well. Much love!”
