Re-Verification Of Autorickshaw Meters Mandatory

As per a report by India Today, the first 5 minutes of waiting time will be free. After that, ₹10 will be charged for every 15 minutes of extra wait. The RTA has also directed that every autorickshaw must display the officially approved fare chart for passengers. In addition, all autorickshaw meters must be re-verified and stamped to reflect the revised rates by October 31, 2025.
