There’s a new restaurant in Khar – Curry Tales and it’s the answer to everyone who craves a decent home-cooked meal.

What Is It?

From thaalis to ghee roast – Curry Tales is the new kid on the block who promises to serve you maa ke haath ka khaana. They have gorgeous interiors filled with yellow lights, hut like softness and pots and pans as chandeliers! But it’s not the interiors that you come for at Curry Tales. It’s the home style food that spans the West coast of India. The ingredients are simple and honest and still represent the region.

What To Eat?

The chef recommends the fish fry and we’d have to agree! All the fancy fish frys have their place but nothing compares to simple pan cooked fish fry. All the ingredients at Curry Tales are sourced from the region itself adding a flavour of authenticity. The ghee roast, the appams are all things you have to try and if you just can’t decide what to eat – have a thaali instead! Being a place that boasts home style cooking, there are always multiple ways to make a dish. The food reflects it.
