Dubai Frame is an iconic landmark that finds itself in Dubai’s kitty of record-breaking structures. Located in Zabeel Park, the frame comprises two towers, 150m each, and is connected by a 93m long bridge at the top. It has been designed by award-winning architect Fernando Donis, who also designed Dubai’s Porsche Design Towers and the Dubai Renaissance Tower. With an estimated value of AED160 million, this iconic landmark is regarded as the world’s most expensive photo frame.
Dubai Frame Gives A Glimpse Of Past, Present & Future
With the glass-bottomed sky deck that flaunts a 360-degree view of both old and new Dubai, this is one of the most iconic landmarks in the emirate. A museum on its lower floor showcases Dubai’s journey from a humble fishing village to the global microcosm. Yes, it shows how Dubai has grown today and a futuristic prediction of what Dubai will look like in 2050.
Dubai Frame is open daily from 9 am to 9 pm and costs AED50 for adults and AED25 for children. The Dubai Frame was constructed using 2000 tons of steel & 2,900 sq m of laminated glass.

How do you expect to see the past, present and future of the city? Here’s all that you need to know.
Old Dubai: Starting from the mezzanine level, the visitors experience the old Dubai, which includes projections, mist effects, smells, and motion that creates a mood for the setting of historical Dubai. The Past Gallery describes the project and tells the story of the city’s evolution and the old city.
Present Dubai: Visitors are taken to the second experience on the Sky deck level, representing the present Dubai. They experience 360-degree views of Dubai, ‘Old Dubai’ to the north, and ‘New Dubai’ to the south. This is supported by augmented reality-activated screens, by which the visitors can identify buildings and landmarks and explore interesting facts or observe buildings and landmarks. Also, a glass floor 48 floors above the ground waits for the brave.
Future Dubai: Finally, visitors can exit the elevator onto the mezzanine floor and pass through a swirl tunnel with special audio and visual effects. The idea is to create an illusion of time travel through a warp swirl and arrive in the city 50 years ahead.
