Meet The Real Life Gandalf Discovering New Zealand One Pic At A Time

Under 140 Characters

There are a 100 ways to discover New Zealand (Middle Earth) but how about a grand tour from Gandalf of The Lord Of The Rings? I mean, the man has been around for approx 2000 years.

About Akhil Suhas

Indian photographer, Akhil Suhas decided to discover New Zealand in the most unique manner – dressed as Gandalf. Using #GandalfTheGuide as his hashtag of choice, Akhil embarked on his 9000 mile adventure.

The photographer initially tried taking his own shots but that idea quickly failed. He then asked passersbys to embrace their inner Gandalf and wear the costume for him. He left the country with great pics and loads of fellow friends.
