Most parts of the world have been welcoming and embracing the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community. We’ve jotted down a list of top 10 gay-friendly travel destinations around the world for you. Go ahead, have a look.

1. New York City, US

New York City is one of the most populous cities in the United States and celebrates people for who they are.  The diversity, the culture and the style here is like no other place.

Here you can choose from endless variations of gay bars and clubs: from muscle Mary clubs to cabaret piano bars and local intimate bars to trendy gay lounges. The new gay hot spot is Hell’s Kitchen and its full of trendy gay bars, restaurants and clubs. Around 8th Avenue in Chelsea neighborhood offers a wide selection of gay venues as well.

7. Amsterdam, Netherlands

Amsterdam is very popular with the LGBT community as for centuries ‘Amsterdammers’ have believed in the ‘Live and let live’ theory.
