What’s In It?

It’s definitely worth the visit and all the efforts to go up there and get lost in a world full of books varying from a wide range of categories. It is a common sight to see all college and school students crowded here on a Sunday morning.

There are thousands and rows of books piled up on the pavements in a 1Km long stretch, the sheer volume of books is fascinating to wander in. You might find first edition copies, famous authors and signed copies for just 50-100 bucks. From Fiction to Science, Biographies, Art and even coffee table and course books – this market has every reader’s choices covered.

Try to get there by 10 am, as it is bound to get crowded in the afternoon and you might miss out on those first edition copies. Be prepared to walk around a lot and carry a backpack to bundle all those beautiful texts in, as the shops might not provide you with a carry bag.
