UB City Mall is a famous establishment in the Karnataka capital and welcomes thousands of visitors every day. It is known as the first luxury mall in India. Well, more than its popularity, its premium parking charge is grabbing everyone’s attention and making all the headlines. Recently, the picture of the parking fee stand started going viral on social media platforms and most people are quite surprised to see how a mall is charging ₹1,000 to park a car for 60 minutes. The sign board is clearly making waves on the X platform.
There are spaces and services for both regular and premium parking at the UB City Mall. But most of us are unsure about the striking differences in the charges and the facilities provided in these places.

Rs 1000 per hour for average 10 hours per day gives Rs 10,000 per day
Thats Rs Rs 3 lakh per month OR Rs 36 lakh per yearIf expected return on investment is 20% per year then the cost of that land would have to be be 36 lakh / 0.2 = Rs 1.8 Cr

For Jaguar, Ferrari owners, this is chillar… Basically, this is to indirectly reserve the parking slots for premium car owners, and discourage others from taking up the space.
