Recently, two cabin crew members of British Airways were fired after they posted a video on TikTok mocking Asian passengers. The cabin crew members were seen using derogatory and racist eye gestures and accents to mock a Chinese family they tended to on the flight. The offensive video has since received a lot of flak online and the British Airways ended up firing the crew members.
British Airways Cabin Crew Post Racist Video On Social Media
Two crew members of the British Airways, Holly Walton and Lauren Bray, recently posted a racist and offensive video on TikTok. The video was shot by Lauren Bray and had Holly Walton mimicking some Asian passengers. The video showed the duo mocking a Chinese family that flew with them recently. They were seen making racist eye gestures and using an offensive accent to mock the family who seemingly spoke little English.
The crew members were staying at a luxury resort hotel in Antigua where they shot the video. They later posted it on TikTok. Besides the racist eye gesture, the crew member can be seen saying, “Give me wine” in an offensive Chinese accent. Furthermore, the video even had a caption that read, “2 weeks in a row with this d******d.”
The video received lots of criticism online and the duo has since disabled all their social media accounts. According to NDTV, the colleagues of these women were also shocked when they came across the video. Reportedly, these two women were also “deliberately laughing” at the family during the flight.

Airline Fires The Crew Members Over “Unacceptable” Behaviour
Seeing the public outrage online and complaints by other crew members, British Airways fired both women. They were called to the airline’s headquarters in the UK and fired as per the company’s zero tolerance towards racism. In a statement released by British Airways on the entire matter, “All forms of racism are completely unacceptable, and we take allegations of this nature very seriously.”
