The Internet can be a very fickle space. Here, individuals with lots of free time on their hands are looking for excuses to get offended. The excuse they recently found was two women getting their car SUVs in a hot pink colour. This incited an onslaught of hate comments, bashing and jokes. However, the two women – Sarah Khan and Apeksha Gurnani – could not be bothered in the least. As a matter of fact, they were the first to anticipate the hate.

A post shared by Sarah Khan (@the_game_of_makeup)

In a video shared by Sarah Khan and Apeksha Gurnani on their Instagram, they shared that they recently decided to paint their Thar and Scorpio in a bright pink colour. Now, if you’re a reasonably stable individual, you may wonder to yourself about their choice but then quickly realise that it’s neither your money nor your business what others do with their properties and then move on.

Unfortunately, though, there is a particular paucity of reasonably stable individuals on the Internet. Hence, something as trivial as women getting their own cars painted in the colours they want must be met with comments frothing with hatred and bile.

In the video and the caption, Khan writes that they are already expecting hatred but are not too worried about getting validation from them.

As expected, the comments section was filled with nasty jokes. Some took potshots at their intelligence while others said that they embarrassed the entire state of UP by doing this.

There were a few supportive voices, however, who said that the haters were unmindful of the fact that pink is just a colour and the cars belong to the women.

It is sad that something so trivial can incite such meanness.

Do you think they deserve such bile for simply colouring their car pink? Would you like to have a pink car someday? Why do you think pink is such a hated colour for these typically masculine-perceived cars? Let us know in the comments section below!
