On V-Day, Blinkit’s CEO took to social media to share fascinating information about today’s sales and looks like people are splurging quite a lot to enjoy the day and see their partners smiling.

20 Per Cent Of Orders Have Been Placed Through “Order For Someone Else Flow” Today

Taking to the X (formerly Twitter) platform, Blinkit CEO Albinder Dhindsa shared some insights about orders and sales on the platform on February 14, 2024.

Albinder shared an interesting insight mentioning how 20 per cent of overall orders since today morning have been placed using the “Order for someone else flow”. Users have used this exciting feature to place an order mostly for their special someone and surprise them. “Love that we are able to help so many folks send Valentine’s gift today”, shared Albinder Dhindsa.

In another post on the X platform, the CEO also added how 32 per cent of the overall orders placed today are actually gift orders. “32% of all orders going out on Wednesday are gift orders”, he shared. To make the gift-giving experience more special and memorable for the users, the instant delivery service company also launched an all-new flow on the Blinkit app. Along with this, there is also a packaging bag specially for the gifts for Valentine’s Day. The white bag looks too cute with loads of red hearts and smiling faces printed on the hearts.

“Great Day For Business” Shared Blinkit CEO About V-Day

Today is February 14 and it is not only Valentine’s Day but the auspicious festival of Basant Panchami as well. Albinder Dhindsa posted how the platform saw great sales of pooja essentials on Wednesday morning. As hours passed, the sales and orders for Valentine’s Day have seen a rise rapidly. The app is on track to sell more chocolates and roses in comparison to Rose Day and Chocolate Day.
