400 Coins Found From Mughal Era In Uttar Pradesh

As soon as the information about 400 coins being found in Uttar Pradesh from the Mughal Era reached the police, they took them into their custody. Sagar Jain, Superintendent of Police, said that these coins were found when some labourers stumbled upon them.

These labourers were digging soil in order to erect a boundary wall at Hussainpur village’s Sati Dham temple in Uttar Pradesh. He informed me that these coins have inscriptions in Arabic and were used during the Mughal period.

He also mentioned that the archaeological team will soon be examining these coins. The examination will bring out more secrets about them, including the metal used in making them.
