Dubai has a lot for kids. But we’ve dropped the cliches and picked 5 hidden treasures in the city your kids will absolutely love. So what are you waiting for? It’s time to have some fun with your little one!

1. Jump & Slide With Your Lil One

All work and no play makes any kid dull! So, grab your car keys and drive your kid for some indoor fun. Docked in Al Quos, Air Maniax is Dubai’s first fully inflated play arena. What’s even better is that it has a soft corner for adults too- allowing the whole family to party in a cushiony park. Teens can go zip lining across the park too. From inflatable basketball courts which require you to jump to drop the ball into the hoop, to slides which are almost completely vertical and interactive warrior assault obstacle course, you are sure to come out puffing and panting. Plus, there’s a small cafe to quench your thirst and hunger too!

2. Pick Your Own Veggies At The Emirates Farm

Let your kid bond with nature and animals at the Emirates Bio Farm. In the outskirts of Dubai is a cute, little farm, with all things pretty and natural. The Emirates Bio Farm is home to over 50 varieties of vegetables. A tractor ride within the farm, priced at AED 30 will give your kid a chance to hand pick vegetables, marvel at nature, and learn all about organic farming. Once you’re done picking veggies, let your little artist splash some colour at the open art centre dedicated for kids. Grab a yummy meal from their cafe (their pizzas are yum) and get set to feed their in-house sheep and goats. Lastly, don’t forget to shop for some organic produce from their supermarket. The dark choco cashews and dates are yum! Also remember to carry warm clothes as it gets cold in here.

3. Legoland

If your kid is a lego fan, then this one’s sure to make his day. Wear your hats and head to Legoland to spend a fun-filled day six themed lands, 15,000 lego models and more than 60 million lego bricks. There are over 40 lego-themed rides, a dash and splash pool and other indoor adventures for kids to pick from. And don’t worry about the food! The tuck shops, cafes, and restaurants serve kid-friendly food, so you don’t have to deal with a cranky toddler. Carry plenty of water, as you will be on your feet the whole day.

4. Picnic On The Beach

Very few things beat the age-old tradition of a beach picnic. The Kites Beach in Dubai is a perfect spot for kids to take a dip and get down and dirty on the sand. Pack your beach kit, floor sheets, balls, nets, and party under the sun. Oh, and the beach has bouncy castles and other fun games for kids too. There are changing rooms and showers all around the beach, so don’t worry about heading home with all the beach mess.

5. Camping In The Desert

It’s that time of the year when you can bundle up in your sweater and sleep under a cozy tent! When the weather is ideal, pack your bags and get ready to spend a night in the desert. Gaze at the stars and sleep under the canvas with your little one after a fun barbecue meal. If you’re looking at some luxury, there are loads of teams who arrange such trips. The package includes pick up/drop off, tents with beds, an Emirati buffet and camel rides. So, when are you going?
