About 5 Lakh Devotees Went To Ram Mandir Yesterday

It was on January 22 when the Pran Pratishtha ceremony took place. Just a day after on Tuesday, the gates were opened for visitors and devotees. Almost 5 lakh people visited Ram Mandir on the first day of opening the doors. The temple authorities began allowing visitors to enter the temple from 6 AM till 10 PM. Pictures and videos surfacing on social media show how the public has been lining up since the wee hours to do the darshan of Ram Lalla.

There have been a few incidents on Tuesday when the rush of devotees broke the barricades and attempted to move forward. The concerned authorities, police officials, and personnel managed the unexpected situation soon. Following all these, devotees once again waited in lines to visit inside the Ram Mandir.

The humongous footfall led to a temporary closure of the Mandir on Tuesday. The rush and crowd were massive and the Ayodhya Police and local administration decided to pause the entry of devotees for some time. To ensure the safety of people, the doors were closed till 2 PM. Later, devotees could enter the temple from 2 PM.
