The founder of Bangalore, Kempegowda I built Four Watch Towers in four directions of the city. It was in order to mark the boundary of the city. You will find them at Ulsoor, Mekhri Circle, Lalbagh Botanical Garden and Gavipuram. Out of these three are open to the public and Ulsoor one is in the military area, hence it is not allowed for visit. You should keep this on your exploring list because it will surely transport you to olden times.

The National Institute of Mental Health and Science Brain Museum houses more than 400 samples of human brain and neuroanatomy. It is said that these samples have been collected for over 40 years! As we mentioned before, Kempegowda I was the founder of Bangalore and it was only right that there is a museum dedicated to him. It is a part of Mayo Hall on Mahatma Gandhi Road and has a proper wing dedicated museum to exhibit all of the precious history and stories related to Namma Bangalore.
