This is exactly what happened when Politician Aaditya Thackeray joined our Editor-in-Chief, Kamiya Jani, for a Sunday Brunch episode. During their fun conversation, he revealed all about his favourite dishes. Safe to say, he is a massive foodie and has quite a long list of his special food spots in Maharashtra. Aaditya Thackeray Enjoyed His First Tandoori Chai In Satara, Maharashtra
Kamiya started this episode by discussing Aaditya’s love for food and how he shared a list of his favourite restaurants with us before filming this video. The list was so long, that he had to admit that his eating capacity did not match it. He revealed that his appetite was similar to that of a sparrow!
Aaditya shared that he could eat 10 food items but in extremely small quantities. Is this how real foodies enjoy multiple dishes without stuffing themselves? Next, he talked about his love for the local cuisine in India. Focusing on Maharashtra, he said, “Even in districts, you find different tastes of the same thing. You have the dialects changing; you have the taste changing.”
Aaditya encountered an experimental beverage while travelling by road to Satara, a city in Maharashtra. Here, he was introduced to tandoori chai! He felt that the distinct tandoori or burnt flavour elevates a simple cup of chai. He actually never heard of it before he got to try it and found it quite different. Kamiya then informed him that this unique chai has been going viral on Instagram and is now available almost everywhere.

We were extremely flattered when Kamiya introduced our guest and he revealed that he wanted to be on our channel for a very long time. Aaditya revealed that he has been an avid viewer of our Sunday Brunch episodes and loves the concept of treating guests to great food at different places. And finally, he is on our show!
