Aaditya Thackeray: I Was A Very Quiet Front-Bencher In School

Most of us have hilarious school anecdotes and occasionally talk about those amusing times when reminiscing childhood memories. On one of our lovely Sunday Brunch episodes, Aaditya Thackeray disclosed about his school days, some fun incidents and how he truly hated maths. Our Editor-in-Chief, Kamiya Jani, learned that he used to be a quiet and shy kid in school who took the first bench in class. Read on to learn more about Aaditya’s school days.

Aaditya Thackeray Preferred Being A Front-Bencher In School

Speaking about his days at the 177-year-old Bombay Scottish School in Mahim, Aaditya described himself as a calm and reserved child who never caused any unnecessary trouble in his classroom. He shared that he used to be that kid who sat on the first bench. But there were times, when he would take a seat towards the back of the classroom, close to corners. Best of both worlds, right?

Wherever he sat in the classroom, his ideal seating arrangement was always to have three to four of his pals near him. Remember, having your seat allotted around your friends? This was one of the most epic things to happen at school! He was lucky enough to enjoy that feeling regularly.

Aaditya is the grandson of the great Bal Thackeray. Coming from an eminent political background, Kamiya was curious, whether our guest needed any special security forces during his school days.

To our surprise, Aaditya told us that he was treated like a regular kid in the school and was not surrounded by bodyguards. However, he told us that there was one thing he needed security from. Any guesses? If you watched this episode, you know the answer to this question! If not, what are you waiting for? Go and watch this fun interview right now!
