Aaditya Thackeray Treats Kamiya Jani To His Favourite Dishes At Hide-Out Kala Ghoda Cafe

We loved bonding over food with Aaditya Thackeray as he is a massive foodie, just like us! We were blown away by his food suggestions in Mumbai and wanted to visit one of his go-to restaurants. It is the famous Kala Ghoda Cafe tucked in the lanes of Fort. Our Editor-in-Chief, Kamiya Jani, enjoyed a fantastic evening strolling the lanes of Fort and trying at his favourite eatery. Check out what they ate here.

Aaditya Thackeray And Kamiya Jani Were At Mumbai’s Kala Ghoda Cafe

For this delightful Sunday Brunch episode, we were at the popular Kala Ghoda Cafe to relish their best-sellers with none other than the handsome Aaditya Thackeray! He was constantly going on about his favourite dishes and eateries while we couldn’t wait to indulge in some yummylicious food at this cafe. Kamiya asked him about his go-to food items from the menu at Kala Ghoda Cafe.

He promptly answered that the folks at the Kala Ghoda Cafe keep changing the menu for variety. However, he loves to gorge on their pizza and cold coffee. Our guest also used to love their cheese and leek soup which is not on the menu anymore. Right after this conversation, delicious pizza, pasta, cold coffee and more were brought out one by one. Both of them were quick to dig in!

He is a typical Maharashtrian hailing from one of the most prominent political families. It was only correct that we asked about his Maharashtrian food preferences in a fun ‘That Or That’ game. The first one was between a Kothimbir Vadi or a Vada Pav and he chose the latter in an instant.

Next was Puran Poli or Shrikhand and as a true Maharashtrian, Aaditya went with the delish Puran Poli. Another option Kamiya gave him was pohe or sabudana and he went with the first choice; he loves to eat the pohe made at his home. He told us that it is made differently which makes it much more special for him. Do we get to try this special poha?
