The airport authorities have announced the decision to transform the international airport into a silent one. This means, there will not be any more announcements regarding the takeoffs, boarding of passengers, or last call of passengers. The airport management, as reported by the Saudi Gazette has taken the decision to enhance the typical environment that is free of noise of voices. This decision was issued with the motive of keeping up with the best global practices that have been applied in several international airports around the world.

What Are Silent Airports?
At this point, it’s worth noting that the airport management will begin to dispense with the announcement of flight details during the boarding of passengers.
