Abu Dhabi Pet Festival Returns!


The pandemic gave us a hard time and most events was called off due to lockdown and other reasons. As the industry is slowly rising from the damage of the epidemic, Abu Dhabi Pet Festival is back to make your weekend pur-tilicious! So if you hoomans want to have a day out with your fur babies, then Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium’s Abu Dhabi Cricket and Sports Hub need to be your destination.

According to UAE law, all pet owners must show proof of up-to-date vaccinations for their animals within 24 months. Overall, animals must be in generally excellent health in order to enter. Your furry friends need to don a short leash around all the time. Additionally, dogs will be given coloured ribbons at the location based on their character to let other guests know whether they are sociable or distressed.

What Should We Expect At The Festival?


Designed with pets in mind, visitors will be able to take part in courses on issues like pet travel safety, weight control, and grooming talents. The event will also host the International Dog Show. Children will learn proper pet-handling techniques at the petting farm. Additionally, there will be K9 Dog Squad presentations and professional dog training live demonstrations. With the assistance of different pet industry associations, Encore Events will present the event in collaboration with the Abu Dhabi Cricket and Sports Hub. The PetME magazine and the Dhabian Equestrian Club are also part of this collab.

The event highlights are a championship dog show, dog agility courses, a pet fashion show, pet health and training, a petting farm, and a demonstration by the Police K9 Dog Squad.

Children under the age of 12 can enter for free despite the Dh25 entry cost. The duration of a single ticket is two days.
