1. GDRFA Dubai Honours Delivery Rider For His Goodwill
The General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) Dubai recently honoured a delivery rider. He was recognised for pausing his work to tackle a leaking irrigation pipe. This leaking pipe had been flooding a busy Dubai Road. The Deliveroo rider had been on his way to complete a customer’s order when her noticed the traffic building up around the water on the road.
2. Dubai Population Sees An Increase By 2,26,885
The population in Dubai saw a rise by 226,885 people since the start of 2026. It reached 4,807,185 by midday Monday, as mentioned by the Dubai Data and Statistics Establishment. These figures indicated continued population growth across the emirate.
3. Emergency Aboard flydubai Flight
On Wednesday, September 30th, there was an emergency aboard flydubai flight from Dubai to Tel Aviv. It later landed safely in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. The flight FZ 1073 landed safely with all passengers accounted for. Further updates about this will be issued later by the authorities.
4. Passengers On Etihad Train From Dubai-Abu Dhabi Get Gifts
The first of the guests aboard the Etihad Rail train departing at 6:14 am were welcomed with live performances, mascots and commemorative gifts. There was everything from Arabic coffee to chocolates, with comfortable seating, of course.

5. Environment Authority Returns 135 Tonnes Of Sand
Environment Authority has returned 135 tonnes of sand to its natural location on Auqad Beach, which is in Salalah. This move was a part of the natural rehabilitation and environmental sanitation efforts for areas that are affected by the soil pollution.
