Abu Dhabi, get ready to kick off November with a bang. The AfroBiano Festival is back for its third year, and it’s landing on Yas Beach on November 1. If you’ve got even a drop of rhythm in your soul, this is your cue to dust off your pouncing cat, sharpen those body rolls, and practise your shaku shaku—because this isn’t just a concert, it’s a full-blown cultural takeover.
Yas Beach To Host AfroBiano, The Biggest Amapiano & Afrobeats Festival In Town

If you’ve never felt the heartbeat of amapiano or lost yourself in afrobeats, this is your golden ticket. AfroBiano is the UAE’s biggest celebration of both genres, transforming Yas Beach into a playground of sound, colour, and flavour. Soft white sand, turquoise waters, and music that refuses to let your feet rest, it’s the ultimate combination.
This year, the first confirmed artist is none other than Master YVK, a South African vocalist, songwriter, and performer who’s been shaking up the amapiano world since 2017. Known as “Yano’s Vocal Killer” (and honestly, once you hear his voice you’ll get why), Master YVK blends catchy melodies with raw, unfiltered emotion. Raised in Thembisa after growing up in Mpumalanga, he brings the kind of energy that makes you feel the music right in your chest.
One Stage, Many Stars
While the full 2025 lineup is still under wraps, AfroBiano’s track record speaks for itself. Past years have welcomed stars like S.N.E., the voice behind hits such as Hold Me Down and Tshwala Bam. DJ powerhouses like Karri, Ntosh Gazi, Phantom, and Rexus have lit up past AfroBiano nights, dropping beats that keep the crowd in motihuart-toppers you can sing along to, underground tracks you’ll be Shazam-ing on the spot, and DJs who can read a crowd like an open book.

More Than Just Music
Any festival isn’t an experience unless we talk about food. When it comes to African street food we bet you can’t resist. The stalls in there will be dishing out spicy suya skewers crackling over the grill, jollof rice, smoky fish and sweet treats.
Apart from food, expect live art shows, vibrant pop-up stalls, and cultural showcases. It’s going to be a taking you through Africa’s story in bold colours, intricate textures, and craftsmanship that speaks louder than words. If you’re in the UAE and you skip this, it’s such a loss for y’all. It’s time to unleash your energy, appetite, and best dance moves.
