Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental has teamed up with ETHR Café to create a seasonal pop-up that mixes coffee culture, local creativity and plenty of good food in one elegant setting.

Running until 4 September 2026, the experience gives visitors another reason to spend a slow afternoon in one of the capital’s most recognisable landmarks. Let’s start with the obvious attraction, the coffee.
Visitors can try a range of speciality coffee creations alongside Arabic coffee tastings that celebrate flavours many people across the region already know and love. But this isn’t simply about grabbing a quick cup before heading off.
Guests are encouraged to sit, explore different flavours and enjoy the atmosphere around them. For many people, that’s becoming a luxury in itself.
The Sweet Treats Deserve Attention Too
Of course, coffee without something sweet rarely feels complete. The menu includes a selection of pastries and desserts inspired by regional ingredients and flavours. Some feel familiar. Others offer a more modern twist.
Visitors Get More Than Just Food And Drinks
What makes this collaboration stand out is everything happening around the food.
The space is inspired by traditional textiles and local craftsmanship, with small reminders of Emirati heritage scattered around the experience for visitors. There will also be live performances, community talks and cultural activities throughout the season to help bring people together. But it helps the experience feel more personal and less like a standard café visit.
