Yes, taking place from December 12th – 21st, here’s all you need to know about this upcoming festival.

Yas Winter Fest Returns This December

Yas Winter Fest is finally making a return to Abu Dhabi this December. It will be taking place at Gateway Park, which will be transformed into a winter wonderland. Complete with all the trimmings, you are bound to have lots of fun! After all, abundant fairy lights illuminating the park, Santa visits, live music, steaming cups of cocoa, and carnival rides are just some of the many highlights here that will make you jump with joy.

If you’re also thinking about all the fantastic things you can experience at the festival, the list includes the following:

• Santa’s Village
  This will be the heart of the festival! Every night, it will begin with a festive tree lighting ceremony and will then transform the garden amphitheatre into a twinkling experience. One, that’s complete with music and colour! Kids can even write their letters to Santa on pretty templates before posting them in vintage-style letter boxes, which are, of course, bound for the North Pole. Additionally, they will also get to meet Santa and pose for a treasured family photo!
• The Snowfall Park
  This will be the coldest corner in the fiesta as kids can check out their Winter Sparkle Ice Rink, or maybe even step inside the life-sized Snow Globe for a picture. Besides these, they will also want to check out Penguin Snow Park, Frozen Palace, and the North Pole Challenge!
• The Festive Fairground
  This zone is where you get to enjoy the holiday cheers loudly. Complete with Santa’s Grand Carousel, Tinsel Tea Swirlers, Frostlight Flyers, and even the Snowworm Express, the fairground corner is something you wouldn’t want to miss.
