1. UAE Leaders Gather For Eid Al Adha Prayers & Greetings

His Highnesses Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and Sheikh Abdullah bin Bayyah attend Eid Al Adha prayers. They gathered at the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque for these prayers.

2. Abu Dhabi Police Warns Motorists Against Distraction

Abu Dhabi Police has urged motorists to avoid being distracted by Eid greeting messages. This is especially when they’re driving, as even a brief distraction can lead to serious traffic accidents. So, it’s advisable that people drive with complete attention on the road.

3. 1.7 Million Pilgrims Arrive For Hajj

As announced by the General Authority for Statistics of Saudi Arabia. It was announced that the total number of pilgrims for the 1447 AH Hajj season had reached 1,707,301. In fact, international pilgrims arrived through various entry points.

4. Dubai Municipality Announces Change Of Free Ice Cream Handout

Dubai had previously announced that free ice creams would be given at six public parks. And the time for handing out free ice creams has been changed to 5 pm to 7 pm, from 4 pm to 7 pm on the first and second days of Eid al-Adha.

5. Eid al-Adha Festive Atmosphere In UAE

Eid al-Adha is finally here, and with a festive atmosphere, the streets in the UAE are illuminated by festive lights and fervour. The squares and bridges are illuminated by decorative lights and colourful displays. Moreover, markets are also seeing strong activity.
