Malaika Arora Reveals The Perks & Perils Of Fame
While chatting with Kamiya over indulgent dishes like Banana Peri Peri Fries, Podi Chutney Sushi and Thecha Paneer, Malaika Arora revealed the perk of being famous. “You can jump the line. That’s a good thing, you never get to stand in a line as somebody is always kind enough to say, ‘Please go ahead.'” Despite Malaika being embarrassed, people kindly ask her to go ahead of the queue.
When it came to the perils of being famous, Malaika reveals it to be a lack of privacy. “Everybody feels that they are entitled to a piece of you that’s the only most annoying thing,” says the actress. Kamiya further prodded Malaika if it annoys her to receive condescending comments and messages on social media. Malaika gestured that she let it enter one ear and released the chatter from the other. The diva revealed that many people keep inflating her age by 3 to 4 years. But she attributes this to her being a part of the Hindi film industry for decades.

It’s Important For Her To Have A Secure Partner
To know how Malaika balances her entrepreneurial journey, film performances and TV show appearances, Kamiya asked her secret to acing work-life balance. Malaika revealed that it is very important to have a secure partner. To be a successful woman, one needs to have a secure partner, in her opinion. “I think women are very good at balancing things in their life. I don’t think we give ourselves credit. But we should give ourselves credit,” says the diva candidly.
