The biggest dilemma I face as a mother whilst traveling with 4-year-old is, ‘how do I keep my child entertained and active?’ Being a parent in Dubai gives you endless options for things and activities to do with your child, but the usual arcades, malls, play areas, parks, and beaches have become monotonous. So here are a few activities in Dubai that kids will enjoy thoroughly.
1. Brain Game Dubai
Location: Jumeirah Terrace Building, Rooftop, Jumeirah 1, Dubai.

4. Children’s Library at Mankool

As a child, my grandmother always told me .”Knowledge is your only treasure” this is the only treasure that cannot be stolen but multiplied. So it’s imperative to increase your knowledge and, one of the best ways is by reading. The Children’s Library at Mankool is a family-friendly place, with numerous options for books. There is a specific area for children, designed with vibrant and eye-catching colors. Adults can also enjoy the facilities at the VIP and the relaxing lounge area.

5. Museum of Illusions
Location: Al Seef, Heritage Area, Bldg. 17, Dubai, UAE
Age: Child below 5 FREE

6. The Jamjar

Painting and art promote the sensory, visual, and cognitive development of kids. But most of all, the pure joy and love you experience when you see something that your child creates himself. It is not the art but the artist that matters in this situation. The JamJar has a summer camp for six weeks for kids only, where they explore the creativity and imagination of your child through art and craft. They also have weekly workshops and retreats for teens and adults.
7. Kidzania
Location: The Dubai Mall
Age: Toddler 2 to 3 years, Kids 4 to 16 years
Kidzania is a place where your kids get to be grownups for a day. Through the concept of role-playing, children learn the importance of money management, responsibility, education, talent, communication, and confidence. Your kids have the option of choosing from over 40 role-playing activities related to real-world careers with their versions of a hospital, bank, radio, tv station, and supermarket, to name a few.
There are no rules in parenting and fun. Each parent will have their version of activities for their kids . I am sure there is something for everyone on this list. Travel safe.
