Actor Siddhant Issar Cancels Honeymoon In Turkey; Chooses Goa Instead

In a move to show solidarity towards their nation, many Indians have decided to cancel their trip to Turkey, amid rising diplomatic tensions. Actor Siddhant Issar is the latest to join this bandwagon. In an interview, the actor revealed that he has cancelled his honeymoon to Turkey and now plans to go to Greece instead.

Actor Siddhant Issar Cancels Turkey Honeymoon

Actor Siddhant Issar tied the knot to actress Surbhi Shukla on April 21. The couple had a traditional ceremony in Ujjain with all their loved ones. While talking to Times of India TV, the actor revealed that the couple initially planned a honeymoon to Turkey in May. However, due to current circumstances, they have decided to cancel their initial plans.

Siddhant Issar shared that the couple planned to fly to Kashmir after their wedding and then return to Mumbai for their reception, which was held on May 2. They, however, had to cancel their Kashmir trip because of the unfortunate situation. The couple was then supposed to fly to Turkey for their honeymoon but seeing the current circumstance, even that is “off the charts now.” For now, Siddhant and Surbhi are enjoying a mini-honeymoon in Goa. They are planning a relaxed and dreamy honeymoon to Greece afterwards.

800 Members Of Ahmedabad’s Jain Lotus Group Cancel Turkish Trip

Keeping the nation-first spirit, 800 members of the Jain Lotus Group in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, cancelled their trip to Turkey. The group was scheduled for a 12-day and 11-night vacation after Diwali. However, due to growing diplomatic issues with India, the group decided to cancel their plans to Turkey.

The group decided to cancel the trip on “moral grounds”. While talking to the media, the organisation’s treasurer shared that they took individual opinions and the committee decided to cancel the trip. He said that this was the “least that they could do for India” and to show support for the country.

MakeMyTrip also discontinued all offers and promotions for Turkey and Azerbaijan, seeing the recent tensions. The platform also advised travellers to avoid non-essential trips to these destinations, keeping in mind public sentiment and national interest.
