Yes, you read that right and that too without a visa for a period of 15 days. The Chinese embassies in the two nations recently made the official announcement. So, what are you waiting for? China To Soon Resume 15-Day Visa Free Entry For Brunei And Singapore
Residents of Singapore and Brunei with regular passports will be able to enter the country without a visa. According to a notice on the official website of the country’s embassy in Singapore, travellers can visit China for business, pleasure, to meet friends and family, or if they are transiting through the country.
Singaporeans have applauded the announcement. According to a statement from Singapore’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the removal of visa requirements would make it easier for people and businesses to travel between our two nations and open the door to closer bilateral engagement.
Particularly after Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong’s visit to Beijing earlier this year, when relations between Singapore and China were upgraded to an All-Round High-quality, Future-Oriented Partnership.

Easing Of Restrictions Began In December 2022
We all know how the outbreak of the COVID-19 virus led to all the countries restricting the entry of other countries’ residents. Similarly, in response to the virus outbreak, China ceased issuing visas three years ago, in 2020.
It was one of the nations with the tightest border controls and lockdown procedures. Even when several important nations throughout the world allowed travel, although, with restrictions, China still did not.
China started easing COVID-19-related restrictions in December 2022. These included lockdowns, lengthy quarantines, and mass testing. The nation started providing all kinds of visas to visitors in March 2023.
Visa-free travel options, however, were discontinued. The most recent information comes as China seeks to reach an agreement with Singapore that would grant Chinese nationals visa-free entry to that nation. (As per Lifestyle Asia and Reuters)
