After a fantastic debut by Tanweer Festival in Sharjah, which left the crowds giddy, it’s returning once again. Yes, the renowned festival is returning to the Mleiha Desert this November, for its second edition, and we just cannot keep calm. Here’s all you need to know about the upcoming festival in Sharjah!
Tanweer Festival Returns This November
After a massive hit with the crowds, Tanweer Festival is now returning for its second edition from November 21 to 23 to Sharjah. This follows a smashing hit after its successful debut the previous year. Offering a carefully curated list of programmes, visitors are bound to be thrilled once again.
This Is The 2nd Edition Of The Festival
For those who are wondering, Tanweer comes from the mind of Her Highness Sheikha Bodour bint Sultan Al Qasimi, who is the daughter of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, who is the member of Supreme Council and the Ruler of Sharjah. This festival aims to create passion for art, culture, connection and global unity, which she also cares deeply for.
With the aim of uniting festival goers, people can appreciate art, music, culture, and sustainability through their list of programmes. And this year’s theme is, ‘What you seek is seeking you,’ which happens to be one of the most popular quotes by Jalal ad-Din Muhammad Rumi, who was a 13-century poet and mystic. You can certainly expect some fantastic programmes this edition as well.
