The iconic Mahalaxmi Race Course turned into a captivating haven for all music enthusiasts for Lollapalooza India 2024. Back with its second edition, the artist lineup that included the Jonas Brothers created quite a musical uproar in Mumbai. So, where would Nick Jonas head to after a successful concert debut in India, in Mumbai? At The Penthouse on the 37th floor of Mumbai’s St Regis Hotel, Koishii.

Nick Jonas Headed To Koishii After Concert In Mumbai, India


At Lollapalooza, the audience eagerly sang along to Priyanka Chopra’s famous song Gallan Goodiyaan before the performance of the Jonas Brothers. After the performance, Nick Jonas headed to The St. Regis Hotel’s Koishii restaurant which serves Nikkei cuisine, a combination of Peruvian ingredients with Japanese culinary techniques. Well, Koishii is the city’s hotspot that has all the makings for a great Saturday night to remember.

As the band took the stage, Nick Jonas expressed his delight about performing in India for the first time. The crowd sang along to hits such as ‘S.O.S., ‘Waffle House’, ‘Cake By The Ocean’, ‘Sucker’, and more. The highlight of the performance came when Indian rapper King joined Nick Jonas on stage to perform his chart-topper ‘Maan Meri Jaan’. The throng greeted Nick, affectionately known as the “quintessential national jiju,” with ‘Love You Nick’, ‘Don’t be Jealous Priyanka’, and ‘We are a Sucker for you, Jonas Bros’ posters high in the air, adding to the unrivalled intensity.

Koishii Is Mumbai’s Hotspot


Nick also posed with the General Manager, Domenico Iannone. The uploaded image’s caption says, “Koishii after the Jonas Brothers’ unforgettable debut at Lollapalooza India”. The Jonas Brothers had put up an amazing show.

The restaurant presents expansive views of the city, capturing the Bandra-Worli sea connection and Mahalaxmi race course in one panoramic shot. No doubt, why Nick Jonas headed to this place for a fine course.  At Koishii, the tastes of Peru and Japan collide. Through the highly regarded Nobu restaurant chain, which chef Nobu Matsuhisa created, the Nikkei idea has spread throughout the globe. The décor, which is dramatically lighted by chandeliers, has a post-industrial aesthetic.
