A few weeks ago, IRCTC joined hands with Delhi Metro to introduce ‘One India-One Ticket’ in the city. Now, they have come together with NCRTC to offer tickets for the RRTS trains that are operational partially on the Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut corridor. The ‘One India-One Ticket’ initiative will ease travel for Indian Railways and RRTS train passengers as they will be able to travel on both lines using just one ticket.

Passengers will be able to book both tickets through IRCTC for seamless travel. They can be booked for the daily commute or can be clubbed with the tickets for the Indian railways. This ticket will have QR codes that will be valid for Namo Bharat trains for up to four days.

Furthermore, as per The Times of India report, a passenger can book an IRCTC train e-ticket and add Namo Bharat train tickets for up to eight travellers per booking. This option will appear on the PNR confirmation page while booking. Then, a unique QR code will be generated for each RRTS ticket that can be conveniently printed on the electronic reservation slips. Aligning with the current Railway reservation window, passengers will be allowed to book tickets for RRTS up to 120 days in advance through IRCTC.

Besides that, they are also exploring the feasibility of offering one-day to three-day unlimited travel passes on the RRTS trains. They believe it can help boost tourism in the Delhi-NCR region. Also, upon successful RRTS ticket booking, the passenger will receive confirmation via SMS and email.
