Sharjah Airport Authority Asks Travellers To Arrive 3 Hours Early
As mentioned in the report by Khaleej Times, Sharjah Airport is expected to receive more than 5,00,000 passengers. They are set to operate 3,344 flights between March 27 and April 6. As a result, the Sharjah Airport Authority has advised passengers to arrive at the airport at least three hours before the scheduled departure of their flights. This has been advised in order for them to complete the travel procedures with ease. Moreover, authorities have also urged travellers to check in online for a seamless experience.
For this purpose, they have also developed a comprehensive plan in order to enhance the operations. Yes, this includes deploying sufficient staff across all work areas so that they can focus on customer service in order to provide immediate support and assistance.

This development comes at a time when the UAE see a record surge in flight bookings. Fuelled by the Eid al-Fitr and spring break holiday, there has been a 65% jump in overall bookings. These were revealed in a report of Arabian Business by several travel platforms and tourist tourism operators. In fact, it is expected to go even higher during the week as the festival date approaches.
