Dressed in desi kurta pyjama and suit, Chris Martin and Dakota Johnson sought blessings from Lord Shiva at Mumbai’s famous Shri Babulnath Temple. Many visuals making rounds on the internet showed the couple praying with folded hands and talking to the priests at the temple.

One video also showed Dakota whispering her wishes into Nandi’s statue at the temple with Chris looking on from behind. According to Hindu tradition, people whisper their prayers or wishes into Nandi’s ears as it is believed that this way your wishes will be directly conveyed to Lord Shiva. Essentially, Nandi acts as a bridge between humans and the divine.

On Friday, the couple were seen exploring Mumbai as well. Several videos and pictures of the duo emerged online where they were seen walking around the town hand in hand.
