Check out more about their stall and them in this #CTDiscovery.

Ahmedabad Couple Serves Pani Puri

A couple from Banaras decided to bring Banarasi flavours to Ahmedabad. They gave a very delicious and healthy twist to normal pani puri and serve different flavours in it. Their stall is named as ‘Banarasi Babu’ which is as cute as they are!

They serve pani puri in normal pudina water like other vendors, but they also have various other flavours. All these different flavours of water are completely healthy as they are made from fruit juices without essence or any artificial flavours.

They served falsa pani puri, which has falsa juice in it, and also kachi kerry pani puri, which has kachi keri, saunf, and pudina. They also serve pineapple pani puri, which is made using pineapple juice.

Apart from different-flavoured pani puri, this Ahmedabad couple also serves chat like Katori, or basket chat, and rabdi or rabri here. The basket used to make basket chat is also home made by them.

They also serve delicious and thick homemade rabri or rabdi. The vendor mentioned that it takes over 5 hours to prepare rabdi.

Rabdi is a dessert made with condensed milk that has its roots in Bengal, a province of the Indian subcontinent. Milk is used to make rabdi by long-term, low-heat boiling until it becomes dense and turns off-white or pale yellow in colour. To give it flavour, jaggery, spices, and nuts are added.
