1. Dubai Gyms To See 30% Rise In Membership

It is expected that gyms across Dubai might see a jump by approximately 30% as the New Year rolls in. A major reason for this is in anticipation of the fact that most of the sign-ins are seen during the first month. Especially, as globally, there is a trend of renewed commitment to health during the start of the new year. After all, everybody plans to stay healthy as a part of their New Year resolution.

3. Air Arabia Begins Flights On Ras Al Khaimah And Tashkent Route

Air Arabia has begun its latest route between Ras Al Khaimah and Tashkent. The largest low-cost carrier in the MENA region, has now started this new service from December 27. In fact, with the addition of this new route, it should be noted that Air Arabia services other destinations from Ras Al Khaimah as well, such as Calicut, Peshawar, Jeddah, and Islamabad.

4. AlUla Celebrates Wildlife Day

AlUla has joined in on the celebrations of Gulf Wildlife Day which is celebrated annually on December 30. It has shined the spotlight on exceptional environmental diversity. Moreover, it also sheds the light on importance of preserving life and natural habitats. Famous for its mountainous landscapes and flora, AlUla is truly a haven for diverse wildlife.

5. Fog Alert Issued For Vehicles In Dubai

The Dubai RTA has issued a notification for the fog around the city. Issuing a fog alert around the city, vehicles on the roads have been asked to ply with caution, to ensure they drive safely, amidst the dense fork at reduced speed to avoid any probable collision.

6. Fog Alert Issued For Vehicles In Abu Dhabi

Vehicles in Abu Dhabi have been cautioned due to a thick layer of fog, which has reduced visibility. As a result, speed on several external roads had been reduced for the motors to exercise caution. They had been asked to reduce their speed limit while travelling so that they can avoid any sort of collision while driving in this easy situation.
