The codeshare partnership between Air India and Kenya Airways complements the already-in-place interline agreement between them.
The codeshare and interline partnerships offer one-stop air connectivity and smooth travel experiences to travellers heading to Southeast Asia and Australia via Mumbai from Kenya. The airlines provide the same improved facilities for the return journeys on this route. The partnership also provides passengers access to a broader range of destinations across several regions.

New Codes On Flights
According to the new agreement, Air India will place its ‘AI’ designator code on Kenya Airways’ Nairobi-Mumbai flights operating daily. These will carry passengers to or from Bangkok (Thailand), Colombo (Sri Lanka), Dhaka (Bangladesh), Malé (The Maldives), Melbourne (Australia), and Singapore via Mumbai. Also, Kenya Airways will place its ‘KQ’ designator code on Air India’s flights between Delhi and Nairobi.
Passengers can conveniently travel between any of the 28 places in Africa and any of the 15 points in India on one itinerary. Africa’s 28 points include Ababa, Accra, Addis, Cape Town, Dar Es Salaam, Harare, Johannesburg, Kilimanjaro, Mombasa, Seychelles, Victoria Falls, Zanzibar, and more. Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Goa, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kochi, and Kolkata are among India’s 15 points.
