Air India Express Increases Domestic Flight Frequency By 25%

Announcing a significant network expansion plan, Air India Express has decided to increase flight frequencies for summer 2024. This move was made keeping in mind the anticipated surge in travel demand during the upcoming summer. As part of this new schedule, Air India Express will offer over 360 daily departures. This means the airline is expanding its flight routes by over 25% in domestic and over 20% in international flights. This massive increase is about 25% more than the summer flight schedule from 2023.
As per the airline, they are adding 55 domestic flights and 19 international flights to their schedule. Now, the airline will be running a total of 259 domestic and 109 international flights every day. Their main aim is to provide all their flyers with a more extensive and well-connected travel experience.
Routes That Will See More Flight Frequencies in Summer 2024
The Air India Express has decided to expand its flight schedule for summer 2024. This new schedule has several business and leisure destinations on both the international and domestic front. As per their new schedule, they will increase frequencies to international destinations such as Abu Dhabi, Dammam, Jeddah, and Sharjah. They will also increase domestic and international frequencies from Ayodhya, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Kannur, Kolkata, Kochi, Mangalore, Thiruvananthapuram, and Varanasi.
