Air India Express Celebrated Onam Launching Kasavu Design-Inspired Boeing 737-8 Aircraft
The airline celebrated the joy of Onam with the introduction of this splendid aircraft. Featuring impressive tail art, its craftsmanship, colours, and eye-catching art took a major inspiration from Kerala’s iconic Kasavu design. The incredible Kasavu design is famous among locals and tourists for its perfect display of off-white colour with vibrant yet subtle golden borders. Devotees usually wear this pretty design during special festivals.
Wearing traditional Kasavu dhotis and sarees, Air India Express staff present at Cochin International Airport welcomed Boeing 737-8 aircraft. The flight has been registered as VT-BXM, according to the airline’s press release. The airline decked up its boarding counters at the airport with themed decorations for Onam such as Pookkalam. They welcomed passengers catching this aircraft with a Kasavu shawl. Boeing 737-8 aircraft commenced its journey from Kochi to Bengaluru.
Connecting Kerala to different parts of India and abroad, Air India Express operates more than 300 departures from this state.
